Sandra spends her days working as a hostess and salesperson for a jewelry gallery nearby. Her nights, however, are spent actually designing jewelry. Her first piece ever is even on display, until a nasty jolt from her past comes crashing back into her life. Jewel thief Derrick Dane nearly ruined Sandra's life five years ago by attempting to frame her for all of his heists and robberies. Now she's working for the police to bait Derrick into a trap so that she can get her stolen piece back and clear her name once and for all. With the help of one sexy cop and one grandfather cop and a monstrous dog named Beastie, Sandra might just come out on top after all. The Love Thief by Daisy Jerico is a fun and fabulous new romp in the realm of Contemporary Romance.

While there wasn't a whole lot of depth to the story, it was a super cute and entertaining read. You hate all the right people, love all the right people, and the plot pushes just the right buttons. This is the cutesy kind of read that you use to get away from the hum-drum of the kids and school routine, and it just works. Daisy Jerico has an easily flowing writing style that manages to both tell the story and give a solid air of humor and lightness. It was a really refreshing read and is a highly enjoyable story. Almost reminded me of the Heist Society series, so it would be good for fans of that series and genre as well.
