The Amberson family is in shambles with all fingers seemingly being pointed at Elise for the death of her husband. When an old friend offers her comfort, she finds herself facing her inner demons, particularly her faith in God.

Author Anita Klumpers skillfully handles the challenges of Elise's faith in HOUNDED. Full of drama, suspense and humor, this is a beautiful story that will keep your attention.

Elise's experiences mirror reality in so many ways. Often, true believers turn away from their faith in the midst of tragedy. Elise holds fast to her resistance. As the story progresses, she and her old friend Russ find themselves having some deep theological debates. As chaos breaks out around them, Elise is desperate to find answers.

Add two playful canines, the worst relatives ever and a persistent police detective and this story will keep you guessing until the end.
