Set in a small town, Like A Lily is a charming Easter story of an unexpected romance. I loved this novella. Once I started reading, I could not put it down until the final word.

Winton Springs is the kind of town where the residents not only know each other, they dabble in each other's private lives. As soon as a handsome, single new minister comes to down, the busybody network immediately starts matchmaking. But his time on the mission field gave Ben a chance to mature and form definite ideas about the kind of woman he wants. Susie's mind is not on romance. She has her hands full getting her new florist business established and taking care of her aging mother. "Like a Lily" is a sweet story about the promise of new love. Taking a trip? Load up your kindle with "Like a Lily". It's the perfect length for an airplane ride or a lazy afternoon when you long for a feel-good romance.

4.0 out of 5 stars Gave me a warm, homey feeling March 11, 2013

Like a Lily is a great novella by Victoria Pitts- Caine. This feel good book is guaranteed to make you smile. Susan has issues as all women do, but with guidance and a good looking man at tow life moves on. The story offered me a great escape to a wonderful community with characters I wanted to meet. I would love to step inside Susan's flower shop and be part of the town.
