"...a cute and easy read..." by reviewer Jessica Baker THE CRUX OF HONOR available now!

The Crux of Honor
reviewed by Jessica Baker.
This was a cute and easy read - read it in one day! The storyline moved along at the right speed for a shorter novel, and I loved how the author went a few years down the road in the epilogue so that you were not left guessing what happened to the characters. There was a twist near the end that I didn't really see coming - I always enjoy this aspect of a plot line.
I thought the relationship between Kevin and Chelsea was easy and comfortable. They had such a history together that their relationship seemed to pick up where it left off. I would have liked to have seen this take a little longer to play out - maybe Chelsea was too embarrassed over her issue and wouldn't have accepted his help so easily. But who doesn't love a cute love story?
Overall I thought this was a nice story with a few turns along the way. I appreciate how the author did her research in Amish hereditary diseases and was able to bring that knowledge into the story. If you are looking for a short and easy read, this is the story for you!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Prism Book Group in exchange for an honest review which I have given.
