I can't stand knick knacks. They're dust magnets. They clutter space, and they annoy me. But that's just my opinon. Do I have knick knacks? Unfortunately, yes. Do I buy knick knacks? That's a hard no. They come my way via gifts.
However, short of dumping them in the trash, I have to take care of them (especially the ones with sentimental value), so here's how to clean them:
A paintbrush is a great way to dust everything from delicate knick knacks to intricately carved furnture and electronics.
My promise to myself: the next time I move, the knick knacks won't be going with me. Problem solved.
