Popeye had spinach to activate his strengths; I have peanuts. Years ago, I'd read one peanut will feed your brain for one hour. I started out this morning with zip creativity, ate a handful of peanuts and I finished a chapter. Did the same thing last night, and, lo and behold, same thing happened. Peanuts are fantastic!
Returned to working on a story that I've written many drafts for over the course of ten (?) years. This time, I'm ready to finish it. Laughter for Tears has been one of the most difficult, challenging stories to-date. It's Ysonde's grown-up story. Bouquet for Motorbikes was the prequel to this book, but it takes a look at her when she was a child. It explains some of why she does what she does. You'd find out more about her in Orchids for Roses.
On that note, time for me to give my eyes a break.
Goal for now: prepare for the rest of the day.
