I'm a night hawk. I've always been a night hawk. My cats think of me as a night hawk. I hate being a night hawk! So when I fell asleep last night at 11pm, my girl, Ivy, was so shocked by that she woke me up at 2:30am by digging her claws into my palm. That irritated me. But she forgave me my irritation and decided to purr and cuddle with me. Silly cat.
Yesterday, had another productive day. Edited chapter 7 of Bouquets and Motorbikes and that brings me closer to being finished. If you haven't already seen it, I posted my book trailer for Bouquets and Motorbikes yesterday here on my blog. I've received lovely compliments on it. And have to say, for a first-trailer attempt, it's not bad. In fact, I'm quite proud of it. This book follows Orchids for Roses in the Choices Series, yet it is the prequel to Laughter for Tears. Confused? LOL, don't be. It's not that complicated.
The Choices Series is thus:
Orchids for Roses (Deborah and Victor's story, with Ysonde as a secondary character)
Bouquets and Motorbikes (Ysonde's backstory)
Laughter for Tears (Ysonde in the Witness Protection Program)
(Cousin Bernie's as-of-yet-unnamed story)
Beauty for Ashes (Graves and Davi)
Laughter for Tears is in final edits, Beauty for Ashes is on its second draft. I hope to have this series completed by the end of the year. Now that would be nice, but no promises.
Goal for now: get ready for the day.
