I have officially started my summertime-hibernation. When temperatures soar, and the humidity in the air rises, I stay where the air is cooler: my basement apartment. My dehumidifier and fans work well together. If only the earwigs would stay away; but then I'd have nothing to complain about. I hate earwigs. Always nervous they'll get on my bed.
Last night, I did get in some editing time. Read over the critiques my critique partner gave me, was thoroughly pleased with them and went on to make some changes. I can't see this taking longer than a couple days. At most. Then on to formatting.
I might have to purchase a larger photo. Smashwords has given the authors notice that they need larger book covers beginning July 15th. I want to make my book covers 'POP', now that I have my desktop publishing software.
Goal for now: prepare for the day; it's going to be a scorcher and I've got things to do.
