Embrasser means to kiss in French. Delphine D'Arleux, traveling in Belgium for a candy-making class, doesn't expect to have the word demonstrated to her, especially by a stranger. Brad Larsen, an avowed chocoholic, knows he behaved badly by kissing the pretty French girl, but he can't quite regret his actions. Can he show Delphine that a longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul? Delphine D'Arleux has a dream to open a chocolate shop. Using most of her savings to travel to Belgium to learn the proper way to make chocolate. While there she runs into a very handsome American name Brad Larsen who gives her a kiss and in return receives a slap.
Because of a computer error the airline says that Delphine doesn't have a return ticket home. She tries to gain money from her account only to find her parents have drained it out. She's got no money and no way home. Or does she?
Brad and his parents are at the same terminal waiting to return home. Brad finds out about her situation and his father pays for her ticket and takes her home. Brad is intrigued by Delphine and continues to help her realize her dream by his father loaning her the money to open the chocolate shop.
Is Brad just being nice to help her out? or does he expect more than just a monthly payment? Is Delphine just going along with liking Brad because she feels like she has to to secure the loan from his family? Both are insecure. Will they open up so each can see the others heart?
What a very "sweet" and fun story. Who could not like a story about chocolate.

Who can resist a story wrapped in chocolate? French-American Delphine D'Arleux traveled to Europe to learn the art of candy-making so she can open a chocolatier--a chocolate shop--once she returns home to California. On the day she's to fly home, she meets Brad Larsen, a flirtatious American with a serious love for chocolate. When her credit card is declined at the airport, Brad and his parents insist on buying her ticket. Delphine reluctantly accepts, having no idea of the awkward relationship that's been set in motion. Back home, she pursues her dream, running into one obstacle after another. And each time, Brad seems to come to the rescue. Theirs is a "rocky road" as she resists his constant flirting, while he pursues her with an arsenal of flowers, financial assistance, and good ol' hard work.
I'm a sucker for stories about entrepreneurs who make their dreams come true, especially when love and chocolate are in the mix! Which is why I absolutely loved this sweet story by Bonnie Blythe.

Who doesn't love chocolate and romance? Delphine is a woman who loves to make chocolate candy and has found a man who loves to eat chocolate. This was a great little romance and would like to see more like it. I love the idea of a man who loves a woman for who she is and not what she size she is. Great read!!

I got another book from this author with a free Kindle offer (Claire's Not So Gothic Romance) and enjoyed it so much that I bought this one. I liked this one even more! It was a fun, sweet book. Great way to spend a lazy summer day in the backyard with my girl.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet romance!, July 2, 2012
While I really enjoyed the book the intial encounter with Delphine and Brad is pretty unrealisitc. Once they are back home the developing love story between Delphine and Brad will steal your heart. Delphine has to learn to understand grace and drop her pride. Brad has to understand how to grow up a little.
You can't help but to fall in love with the other characters in the book. From the pastor to the parents they are all lovable people!
Well developed story line! I will certainly read more from this author!
