5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Book September 23, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I've really been enjoying Bonnie Blythe's books, and am honored to help with the editing. She is a true Christian writer, with wonderful characters who will steal your heart away. God-fearing, God-loving! It's refreshing to find these books!

4.0 out of 5 stars Love the humor! October 9, 2012

In Book Two, Bayward Heart, Hope Conrad runs a whale watching business and is readying for the peak season when her boat is damaged. Boat captain Eric Bandon offers a solution that may only deepen her dilemma. Strapped for cash and time, and knowing one bad season will sink her business for good, she reluctantly accepts Eric's offer. Will she heed his challenge to take the plunge with him as well as be reconciled to her sisters? A Christian romance.

I absolutely loved the humor of this book! There were many places I laughed out loud! But I really enjoyed Eric's encouragment toward Hope's reconciling with her sisters! What a neat guy! I highly recommend this series!

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable read October 6, 2012

Bonnie Blythe's characters are unabashedly Christian...and kind of messed up. Bayward Heart is Christian Romance, but that doesn't mean answers are easy or evident for Blythe's characters.

One of the Cascade Brides Series sisters (this is about Hope, as in Faith, Hope, and Charity) owns a boat, but is scared of the water. Without it, she is a paycheck away from living in her car. But when the white knight arrives, she doesn't believe him, doesn't trust him, and can't survive without him.

A very engaging story of likable characters set on the rugged Oregon coast where weather can destroy careers, or force together unlikely allies.

Well-written and edited, I enjoyed this book right up to the last word.
