Guess: You Might Win A Copy

Blogging has become an obsessive passion for me. I love promoting other people's work (my own included) but mostly I love to watch the number of views jump. I'm not sure if it's like an online popularity contest or what, but it's fascinating to see what garners the most views and what doesn't.
I've noticed that if you leave a 'cliff hanger' on your blog, it'll draw more views than a plain, miscellaneous post title.

My book, Orchids for Roses, gained a fan base, was well-received. But almost didn't get published.

Hang around and I'll tell you what happened.

In the meantime, enjoy the book trailer for Orchids for Roses and see if you can figure out why it was initially turned down (no, it had nothing to do with grammar or misspelled words). Hint: The day I sent it to an agent was a Thursday. The following week, disaster struck. Leave your guess in the comment section below; if you're answer is right you'll get a free digital copy of Orchids for Roses.

Blurb:
A rose by any other name is trouble. At least, that's always been Deborah's experience when it comes to Amy Brothers. Unreliable employees, knifed bubble-wrapped windows and the discovery of explosives in her orchid boutique she can cope with, but letting someone as shallow and malicious as her nemesis waltz away with the man she loves isn't going to happen. Not twice in her lifetime.
