Workmen painted yellow lines under parked car

An English driver received a parking ticket after workmen painted yellow lines under his parked car.

Steve Tether
Steve Tether parked his car in Lime Street (Hull) and when he returned to his car he was shocked finding a £30 fixed penalty ticket on his car.

Factory worker, Jason Morrow, opposite the parking place watched as the workmen bounced the Nissan Micra away from the kerb, put down the yellow lines, pushed the car back and carried on painting down the road.

Steve went immediately to Hull City Council to complain about his penalty ticket. Fortunately Hull City Council discussed the matter with Humberside Police and agreed to cancel the penalty ticket.

Interesting fact:
Some birds have been know to put ants into their feathers because the ants squirt formic acid, which kills parasites.
