Caleb McBryde, a former Texas Ranger, and a hunk with a scar on his face as well as one in his soul, stumbles into Hope's life as a result of the accident. Can Hope find her way back to God? After all, He disappointed her. Will Caleb overcome his fear? How can Hope love a disfigured man? Hart weaves valuable Christian insights into the undertaking without overload on the preachy stuff.
This is one of my favorite books because it is well written.
