Chickpea flour roti

Introduction

This is a quick and easy savoury flatbread, a little like a tortilla or roti.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients



       1/8 cup chickpea flour
    - water to form a crepe-like batter
    - bit of salt



Directions

Stir together chickpea flour and water to create a batter. Add salt.

Warm a nonstick pan on medium heat. Pour in batter and swirl pan as you would with a crepe. Cook until slightly browned on one side. Flip and cook until browned on other side.

This flatbread doesn't lend itself to foods like wraps - it's more like a flour-based pancake. It goes well with foods like stews.
