Stone of Destiny blurb

Author Mary L. Ball is working on her latest exciting novel: Stone of Destiny, read the blurb here:

Stone of Destiny

There are those who have been blessed over the centuries because of a tiny gold band, a mysterious object that transforms lives--sometimes forever.
Taylor Hamilton has given up on everything but her work. After becoming the youngest CEO of Mugful’s Beverage Company, she believes life is complete. That is, until her grandmother asks her to oversee renovations at the family home, in addition to searching for a missing heirloom.
First contact with what she believes is an insignificant ring, lost for fifty years, sends her life spinning. Taylor experiences strange dreams. Feelings surface, she doesn't understand; mere thoughts that should remain unspoken, are voiced.
Taylor’s emotional journey begins, testing a heart as cold as the ring itself--forcing her to question everything she believes.
Is this a fairy-tale or her soul, reaching out for a different world, a life she can only find through faith and a divine trust in God?

5.0 out of 5 stars Escape to Big Fork LakeMarch 22, 2013
I have just finished reading "Escape to Big Fork Lake"and enjoyed it so much. It was filled with mystery and love. Sam was broke, scared and running away and she lost her friend, She inherited a place and moved to Big Fork Lake and met Noah and fell in love. It is about finding and loving God.I would highly recommend reading this book if you like religious reads. I couldn't put it down after I started reading it. The author did a great job in keeping your interest.

4.0 out of 5 stars Escape to Big Fork Lake - a good read!March 18, 2013
This review is from: Escape to Big Fork Lake (Kindle Edition)
Sam loves living in the city; however, she has no family, no job, and a man who is harassing her. Surprisingly, she inherits a lodge in a small town, where she is framed for murder. But something good comes of her move -- she begins dating a Christian man who has a strong influence on her.

This is a Christian romance/mystery novel in which the hand of God is evident. The book is well written - I liked the characters and the plot. I look forward to reading more books by Mary L. Ball.

This review book was provided to me at no cost - thank you, Mary L. Ball!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Read February 15, 2013
Format:Paperback
My friend recommended this book to me. I was hesitant because some books she suggests are not what I like, but nonetheless I picked the book up. I started to read the book and once I got to about page 10 I was hooked. The author has a very pleasant writing style, and pays attention to detail. I have read a broad range of books, and the author keeps sexual situations appropriate. The story was a great mystery and romance book in one. Overall it is a pretty good read and worth the time to read it.

4.0 out of 5 stars romance wrapped in mystery and suspense! February 22, 2013
By Deb
Format:Kindle Edition
A well written story of a young woman who resists faith in a God who doesn't seem to care. This is a sweet romance that sensitively addresses sexual temptation for Christians without making the reader blush. As life in the city becomes unbearable, Samantha inherits a country inn and grows to appreciate small town living. Unfortunately trouble continues to follow and she is accused of murder. Who is trying to implicate her and why? Will the romance survive in the months prior to the trial? Will she have to close the inn as guests fear to stay? The suspense will keep you turning pages to the very end! I believe Mary has promising future and look forward to her next book!

I often look for Christian books that are quick to read. This one was a delight. Mary Ball detailed scenes that make me wish I reclined at a picnic on the lake with a handsome man. I thought she did a wonderful job of sexual passion and yet stayed within guidelines that did not offend me. Good read.
