SUMMERTIME!

Summer is not controlled by calendars for me. The season arrives when the sun and school are both out. Whether your favorite retreat involves cool mountains or bright, sandy beaches, summer means freedom, to include reading what I like instead of what I must. Delicious romances, scary adventures, tales of long ago—they all await me, fairly bursting with the promise of delightful entertainment. A few of my reads-in-waiting are still physical specimens, but nowadays most are eBooks. I think of my eReader as a treasure chest, and each book that’s stored inside as a precious gem.
