The romance of Agatha Christie and Max Mallowan by Sharon McGregor

 
Agatha Christie, the Queen of Crime, has been more widely
read than any other work except the Bible. She has been translated into many languages, and created two of the best known fictional detectives, Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. Her play "The Mousetrap" is still breaking performance
records.

She was married twice, but since she retained the name
Christie for her writing, Agatha Christie's first husband Archibald Christie is probably the first one we think of rather than her second husband, Max Mallowan.  Yet her marriage to Christie lasted twelve years ending unhappily while her marriage to Mallowan lasted 46 years.

 Agatha married Archie Christie in 1914 and had one child
Rosalind with him.
