Author Kim McMahill writes another romantic adventure grounded in her interest in colorful locales and personal challenges. This one is enhanced by the dystopian plot, which makes the stakes much higher for Nyla and Ethan.

Once again Ms McMahill has proven her writing talent in her latest novel. From points all over the world the wrongful collection of long ago hidden mystical Mayan relics alerts CIA agent, Cash Luker.
As he tries to stop the devastation of antiquities and humankind, he must conquer the secrets of his past and save the woman who has won his heart.
From the mangrove forest in the Bahamas to underground cities in Peru to the Navajo Nation in Arizona, Ms McMahill creates for the reader the experience the assemblage of agents, an archaeologist and a scientist encounter as they search for the thirteen relics that have the power to change the world.
But Cash Luker may have met his match when someone from his past, equally knowledgeable and with a carefully collected group of assistants seems to stay one step ahead of him in the race for the thirteen.
I highly recommend this novel. Very well done Ms McMahill!

ReplyDeleteKim McMahill's books keep a reader on their toes; there's hardly a moment's break before the next 'cliff dive' happens. It's amazing how she airlifts a reader from one heart-pounding moment to the next.
