Company here and gone. Yale was his regular flirty self. So cute. Ivy made herself scarce (stayed on my bed practically the entire weekend until night when everyone was in bed, then she prowled).

The apartment looked pretty good (after an emergency clean up), and this being 'kitchen focus' day of the week, I made a few adjustments to make it look brighter and more spacious - 2 important things I need in my apartment. I have no idea how four people used to live here before I did! But they did.

I also spent the weekend giving a lot of thought to Laughter for Tears, made a ton of notes and saw places where it could be improved. This evening, I re-worked chapter six and am pretty pleased with the changes I made. An editor once told me I like to torture my heroes and yep, true to form I'm doing the same to my poor Mick. But, thus far, he's taking it all in stride. I said, thus far. Mick normally doesn't have 'machismo' issues, but I think that's gonna change when he sees his competition. But he's a smart guy, he'll work through this and win ... I hope.

Rooting for you, Mick!

As I'd mentioned in an earlier blog, I'd finished the first draft of Ysonde's prequel to Laughter for Tears. Was thinking about it last night, and I figured Graves is going to get a prequel to Beauty for Ashes. Lots of ideas, goodness!

Goal for now: re-work chapter 7 until the alarm tells me to start my bedtime routine.
