Orchids for Roses was my first full-length novel (over 90,000 words). Took me ten years to write it and see it in published form, June, 2003 via Treble Heart Books Publishing Co. Though I have grown as a writer, when I decided to make Orchids for Roses available again I didn't want to edit the heart out of the story. It was an emotional piece for me, written during one of the darkest times of my life. There's a lot of symbolism with the characters, but I hadn't realized it at the time. Perhaps, one day, that will be something I'll discuss. Until then ...
