My temporary office: my lap. I'm sitting on the futon, a keyboard hooked up to my laptop and I actually think I'm going to like this. I've sat in this spot for the past couple days. Today, I had to fight the cat for my space. The futon is not an armchair; it's a good six and a half feet -- if not a bit more -- in length. I take up all of three feet of it, what with all my stuff, but the cat automatically thinks it's the best spot in the apartment. No wonder female cats are called 'Queens'. That's exactly what they think they are.
Anyway, was planning to write for a bit, but it's after 1 am, and I'm actually tired. I think I'll head on to bed and maybe read for a few minutes. Was downloading books like crazy today from Kobo and Smashwords. I discover some great talent whenever free books are offered. Sometimes those authors hit my absolute-favorite list and I end up buying more of their books. That's the pattern I'm following, however, it's not exactly working that great for me so far. But I'm slowly getting my name out there.
Goal for now: turn off the computer and go to bed.
