Saturday night, I watched a movie (plus the special features) while making a tie-blanket. No sewing involved, just a 4x4 piece of cardboard, scissors and my thumb for guidance. Sounds complicated? Not at all. If I can make them anyone can. Took me 4 hours.

Unfortunately, Yale decided he'd like to have my queen-sized tie blanket. I say, "No way, man!", but he ignores me. Per usual. So, now I wake up with him hogging the middle of my side of the bed. I like to move around, and he likes to be 'dead weight'. I've already given up my favorite side of the bed for him and his sister, but now he's moved over to my side. Not exactly sure what I'm going to do, but he's not getting the whole bed!

Update on Laughter for Tears: half way through chapter 9. Was taking a break from it -- only because I had no idea what to do with it -- but then I got an idea, and went with it. Oh goodness, Mick is going to have no ego left when he reaches the end of the story, LOL. I'm not kidding!

Goal for now: stretch my legs, take a break, get my creative juices flowing. Then I'll get back to writing.
