Getting close to the half-way point of edits with Bouquets and Motorbikes. Didn't think I'd be able to settle down this afternoon and get any work done, but then I forced my fingers to the keyboard and made 'em type. Yes, I'm strict like that!

At this rate, I should be ready to publish Bouquets and Motorbikes (digital copy) by the end of June. That's the goal I'm setting for it.

But my goal for now: get ready for sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day (I'm getting my new computer. Months of saving and praying and now the day is almost here).

Excerpt: The Gingerbread House

Now that she wasn’t on the wrong side of the theatre’s entrance, Keren had time to notice more about the person playing the part of her younger self.
Keren had forgotten she used to wear her hair in a ponytail, and that her favorite pair of overalls had a tear in the right knee. She squinted to get a better look. Could it be? Yes, Character-Kizzy strode around in a boy’s plaid shirt; an exact copy of her older brother’s hand-me-down.
"Where did you find clothes to fit her?" Keren asked in a hushed voice, not wanting to disturb the players.
"I’d had a costume maker sew them," Jared said, the dim lights highlighting a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. "The poor woman. I’m afraid I was rather … demanding when it came to how I wanted the characters to look."
