It felt wonderful to fall asleep almost the minute I turned out the light last night. Best feeling ever. I slept for about five hours and instead of being sluggish I feel GREAT! Not bragging, just so happy not having that sense of  'dragging myself around'. If I hit a wall later, that's fine. I"ll stretch out on the futon and have a cat nap.

While working out, I was 'writing', thinking out plot points for Bouquets and Motorbikes, and even worked on a book review for a book I haven't finished yet. I know how to entertain myself. That was never an issue when I was growing up. Maybe that comes from being the fourth child of five. I'm an independent worker, self-starter and am responsible for finding something to do. I don't need anyone dogging my heels, directing me to do this-and-that. I may be dull to someone else because I don't party, but I rarely feel bored. However, what does bore me is listening to someone whine (myself included), not being proactive in my life and not having a story to write.

Goal for now: get ready for the day.
