Faith has many regrets: losing her mother at a young age, not graduating from high school and moving on to university, and being rejected by her younger sisters after she's practically raised them. Not only does Faith think she's a failure, she believes that everyone she gets close to are the ones she'll disappoint the most. Basically, Faith has lost ... well ... faith in herself and happily-ever-afters.
Enter Shane Zadopec, the handsome ranger new to town who also happens to be the nephew of Faith's employer. Feeling she's about to be replaced, Faith tries to keep the charming Shane at arm's length, but she doesn't count on his knack for pushing her emotional buttons and motivating her to chase after dreams she'd thought were long buried.
However, when he shows signs of romantic interest, Faith is ready to emotionally run away. How could she bear to disappoint yet someone else who's become a vital presence in her life?

Bonnie Blythe proves yet again that she is not only up to the challenge of bringing characters to life, she convinces them to open their hearts and reveal their greatest fears and most painful memories to the reader. Couple that with gorgeous mountain terrain and photography and you have a story that you'll want to read time and again.
