Anyone who thinks Canada is not warm during the summer is highly delusional. Not only do temperatures rise, the humidity in the air rises as well. Makes for an overall unpleasant experience. Thankfully, my apartment is in the basement of a bungalow and can maintain a relatively pleasant temperature if one has a dehumidifier and oscillating fans working in tandem. It's nice not relying on the expensive use of an air conditioner. The downside is remaining indoors through most of the summer; my hibernation.

That being said,

Goal for now: onward to critiques: my weekend project.

Don't forget to check out free and heavily discounted books @ Smashwords.com, especially my books:

Orchids for Roses

A rose by any other name is trouble. At least, that's always been Deborah's experience when it comes to Amy Brothers. Unreliable employees, knifed bubble-wrapped windows and the discovery of explosives in her orchid boutique she can cope with, but letting someone as shallow and malicious as her nemesis waltz away with the man she loves isn't going to happen. Not twice in her lifetime.

The Gingerbread House

Keren Joel has a phobia and, without realizing it, she's passed it on to her son. This forces her to seek professional help. What she doesn't expect to find is the man who'd been her best friend, twenty years earlier, and his shrine to a moment that forever changed who they were.
