Your heart will melt for Ysonde as you learn about her heartbreaking childhood. The love instilled in her heart from her grandmother, grandfather, and her cousin, Bernie leave a glimmer of hope for redeeming Ysonde's life and promising a future, if she can break free from her terrorist mother and her henchman. 

While Ysonde is a child in this story, this is not a children's story. I was captivated by the writing and wanted to learn more about Ysonde's life. Jacqueline Hopper has done a wonderful job of bringing her characters to life.
