Mary L. Ball Reveals Her Favourite Character -- Surprised Me!

What do you like about the characters of your novel?

In “Escape to Big Fork Lake” the main character is Samantha Blacker (Sam). I enjoyed creating her personality very much. She is a large part of all of us females, with secret insecurities and fears. Just as with most women though, if we’re pushed enough we will find our inner strenght and forge ahead.

 

 I must admit that my favorite character in the novel is the man who became her side-kick, Noah Frye. I’m a sucker for a kind hearted, God-fearing, country boy in a pick-up truck, but just like all men (women too, I guess) Noah has a fault. He jumped to accept what he thought was truth and wouldn’t listen to Sam’s explanation until he realized just maybe, he was wrong.
