5.0 out of 5 stars Family Secrets, Blackmail, and a Chance for Love - GREAT READ!
In Spanish, the word for miracle is milagro. And Miranda Adams needs one desperately. When her boss blackmails her, Miranda breaks into his home while he's out of town to search for the incriminating information he has on her. When the boss's adult son Spencer suddenly shows up, Miranda panics, grabs a gun in the drawer and shoots him in the leg. And so begins a most...

Not nearly as good as her other novels, in my opinion. The story moved verly slowly and was notvery interesting. I almost quit reading the book at one point because I was so bored.

I enjoyed this book very much. Miranda is an interesting woman, your not sure what is going on with her. Is she a beliver? Or has she gone over to the other side?
I also enjoyed learning so much about Mexico.
If you read one in the series you'll want to read them all.

This is a great read because it has a good story and does not go into a lot of graphics on the romance side nor has fowl language.

I really enjoyed this book. It is rather a mystery and also a love story. All of Bonnie Blythe's books I have read are good.
And without all the bad words. Thanks to the author.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great book!, July 27, 2012

This book is the conclusion of a series but the characters from the previous two books are barely mentioned. It stands alone well so could be read without having read the previous two books. It is a very good book but I didn't like it quite as well as "Restoration's" and "Lights and Shadows". I really wish there was a fourth book b/c I felt like I was left hanging a little bit on this one. However, it is definetely worth your time. I could read it all over again.

I enjoyed the first two books of the Oregon In Love series, so I decided to read the third. The story line for this story was preposterous!
The only reason I read the entire book was just to figure out how the stupid story ended.

Bonnie really has a way with creating realistic characters. Spencer is a guy that loves the Lord, has a great heart and high morals. He can also be insensitive, judgemental, and says something stupid to Miranda almost every time he opens his mouth. Gotta love it! Miranda on the other hand is confused about God, is hot tempered, bitter (with some reason), but is vulnerable and compassionate. Great story. The only thing was it really needs a part 2. You get so engrossed with the characters and their complex situation and then it leaves you wanting to see how things are resolved. Have to say though that Bonnie is becoming my favorite Christian author. I definitely recommend this one.

Miranda Adams is a desperate woman. She's desperate to stop her employer, George Meyers, from blackmailing her any longer and desperate to find her half- sister who's somewhere in Mexico City. Spencer Meyers is George's son and knows nothing of his father's secrets. After returning home from a business trip, Spencer walks in on Miranda trying to destroy the file George has on her. In a weak moment she raises the gun at Spencer and shoots. Hitting him in the leg. Knowing that it wasn't really Spencer's fault she helps him back to her house where her mother and her care for him. When he learns of his father's blackmailing scheme he decides that he will do whatever it takes to help Miranda find her sister. Will they ever find Soledad? Is Spencer really different from his father? Spencer and Miranda are beginning to have some feelings toward one another. Is it something that is lasting? Join Miranda and Spencer on their adventure around Mexico as they eat food from the street vendors and see the sights. Another enjoyable story from Bonnie!

Miranda Adams needs a miracle desperately. After her Mother had died after she had sneaked her into the US, her boss had blackmailed her and she breaks into his home to search for the incriminating information he has on her. When the boss's son Spencer suddenly shows up, Miranda panics, grabs a gun in the drawer and shoots him in the leg. And so begins a most unusual and captivating tale of romance, family secrets--and a wild trip to Mexico where Miranda, with the help of Spencer, searches for the orphaned half-sister she never knew. The colorful, complex characters in Bonnie Blythe's Milagro for Miranda face heart-searching decisions and serious danger in their quest for family answers--and for faith to trust in God.
