This book tells the story of Aurora Young an ex prostitute who buys land in Montana to make a better life for herself. On a mission from God she tries to help other prostitutes in town with much distain from the pimps and crooked sheriff in town. I loved this book and the christian element of forgiveness. Its a very positive message. I cant wait for the next book in the series.

It took me a few pages to get into this book but once I was hooked, the story took me back in the Wild West for an enjoyable read. I read it on one sitting with a short break for a hurried lunch. Forced into prostitution at an early age, Aurora Young is rescued from San Francisco's Red Light District and given a large amount of money for a fresh start. She rescues another young girl from the District and heads for Montana, intent on purchasing a ranch and making it on her own. In Montana, she finds several flourishing "business" on Main Street and sets out to offer the Soiled Doves working there an opportunity to escape. And she meets a circuit preacher who gives her as battles the madams, the sheriff, another rancher, and most of the town to free these women. It's a good read with plenty of conflict, adventure, and a twist of romance.

I did not like the name of the book but bought it because of the summary. I enjoyed the book and read it within a day. This is about giving second changes in life and that there is redemption of wrong doing of your past - if you are prepare to start a new life. The book also gives you a picture of what can happen if you choose to stay in darkness. Aurora Young will do anything to help those that cannot help themselves - that were in the same situation she was in. Donovan Ramsey (her neighbour) hates women in general and especially those with a past like Aurora. When Donovan learns about Aurora's past, he could not accept it, although he loved her and had to work hard to overcome his own pride and accept. The end could have been longer.
