CAR HEALTH: EMERGENCY TRUNK ITEMS

Emergency Trunk Items - In the unlikely event that you get stuck due to a storm or if the car has engine failure, be sure to have a few key items stashed in your trunk. An ice scraper, a small bag of sand (for traction if you’re stuck – just put the sand under your wheels to give them something to grab onto), a set of jumper cables and a shovel are ideal. Add to that a warm blanket, flashlight, hat and gloves as well as drinking water and non-perishable snack items, like energy or granola bars.
