Be Sherlock Holmes for the sake of your mental health

The biggest trigger for me is food. If I don't eat wheat and processed foods, I'm calm, level-headed, and not overly emotional. But eat a cookie and I'm a sobbing, angry mess. Not to mention that stuff robs me of sleep, peace of mind, and contentment.

My brother also has "triggers." If he eats or drinks anything with caffeine, he becomes super hyper and obnoxious.

I wish I'd known about my food triggers a long time ago. It would have made life a whole lot easier to deal with, and less easy for others to manipulate.

Are  you an emotional mess at times? Make a note of how and if certain foods affect you. If you have problems falling asleep, keep track of what you'd had that day and come to a logical conclusion.

Be Sherlock Holmes for the sake of your mental health.
